Document: Assessing Markets for Business Development Services - What have we learned so far?

Description

This working paper is structured around a number of hypotheses or assumptions, on which Small Enterprise Development (SED) work has traditionally been based; in each case, the evidence supporting or challenging these foundations has been presented, often in graphs to illustrate the trends. In addition, a methodology is proposed, for analysing the overall dynamics of the service market, as the basis for a systematic tool for project and programme designers.
