Document: Value chain mapping and LED Rapid Appraisals - Some variations to PACA
Description
This paper introduces a variation of the Participatory Appraisal of Competitive Advantage (PACA) methodology which increases the chances of good project selection, project implementation and eventual scale of impact. Sector value chain mapping is introduced as a framework for data collection, analysis and project selection. The sequence of activities is changed to reduce diagnostic risk and increase levels of commitment to implementation.
