Event: International Summer Academy on LED

Mesopartner is organizing the sixth international summer academy on local economic development in Duisburg, Germany.

Target Audience

Experienced LED practitioners, government officials, development agencies, NGO’s, business associations, donor organisations whos target is to promote local economic development and local innovation systems at the level of local or regional territories

The course is offering new insights on local and regional development and innovation promotion. You will be able to share and discuss your experience with practitioners from other countries.

The Location

The summer academy will be hold in the Ruhr Area,a german region that has faced the challenge of confronting structural change driven by the decline of the coal and steel industries for 50 years. It is a region that has experimented with all sorts of approaches to stimulate local and regional economic development and has been selected as the European Capital of Culture "Ruhr 2010".

Methodologies

Highly interactive, not primarily based on frontal presentation, it will be drawn on participants know-how, exchange of experience among the participants will be stimulated

Early Bird Special:

For every registration recieved before 7th of April 2010 there is a reduction of 240,00 EUR from the normal fee of  2.865.00 EUR = 2.625.00 EUR
