24. May 2011 - 27. May 2011 All our Short Learning Programmes (SLPs) are also available as so-called "in-house" training session. This implies that the University will send the facilitator to your workplace or training venue of your choice. Please note that an "in-house" session can only be facilitated if a minimum of 15 learners register for a learning programme.
Target audience: The target audience for these short learning programmes include municipal councillors and officials who need to expand or update their knowledge and skills in order to enhance decision making processes and actions aimed at the delivery of local government services. To ensure programme quality and individual attention short learning programme registration are restricted to only 25 learners per training session.
Entry requirements: Matric (Senior National Certificate) for all NQF Level 5 short learning programmes.
For the Advanced Project Management learning programme appropriate experience and a Project Management (NQF Level 5) learning programme are prerequisites for registration.
Competency Assessment: Within 6 weeks after completion of the training session, participants must submit an individual assignment as required for the summative assessment.
