Event: Summer Academy in Berlin
Date:
02. July 2012 - 06. July 2012 We invite you to our 8th Summer Academy in Berlin that will be held from the 2nd to the 6th of July 2012. After seven successful Summer Academies in Duisburg we have decided to change the location. For development practitioners, Berlin and the surrounding rural region Brandenburg is of special interest, because it provides a laboratory of economic and social polarities as well as a wide range of urban-rural experiences on how to overcome obstacles and exploit opportunities. Our hotel is located directly at the former wall. From our training venue we would like to guide you through economic change insights based on experiences in Berlin and Germany.
Whereas our program approach during the last years focused on different instruments and methods, our focus now is more on finding ways to connect the different principles, systems and methods in line with our new strapline “connect the dots”. This does not mean that the event will be more theoretical, but that we will try to understand how different approaches work together within complex local economic systems. For this reason participants from our previous events will benefit from the new programme. Have a look at our
