Description
Lesedi Local Municipality is part of the Sedibeng District Municipality. It is a primarily rural area, with the major urban concentration located in Heidelberg/Ratanda and Devon Impumelelo, which is situated along the N3 freeway at its intersection with Route 42, east of the Suikerbosrand Nature Reserve.
Lesedi spans an area of approximately 1 430 square kilometres, mostly agricultural. Lesedi is situated approximately 60 km south east of Johannesburg.
