The Industrial Development Coperation (IDC) has a R400 million ring-fenced funding for women entrepreneurs. Beneficiaries of the fund will not only get financial support but also training, mentorship and support.  A full article on this funding programme can be read here.


Document: New in our online library is a report by the Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries giving a statistical overview in the sector. The report, Quarterly Economic Overview of the Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Sector shows that the sector contracted for the third consecutive quarter, recording a quarter-on-quarter negative growth of 4, 3%.
