AFTI is a network and advocacy organisation representing Fair Trade small-farmer producer organisations. There are currently three small-scale certified Fair Trade producers in South Africa. The AFTI secretariat is run within the Environmental Monitoring Group (EMP), an NGO that provides social and environmental support services to marginalised communities and undertakes advocacy on environmental change
