Organisation: Yebo Co-operative
Yebo Co-operative is a self-help and self-responsibility structure. It was created in 2003 by various self-help groups, co-operatives and burial societies throughout SA and has since been making a meaningful contribution towards social and economic empowerment. Yebo helps its member-groups to organise themselves so that they have more bargaining power to reach their goals, to grow their businesses and make a better living. Yebo’s aim is to help and support its co-operative members to implement self-help, self-administration and self responsibility values as a practical strategy to meet their current and future economic and social challenges.
Yebo Co-operative Limited is a service and support co-operative and is registered with the Registrar of Co-operatives. Yebo complies with all the requirements of the Co-operative Act 14 of 2005, which regulates co-operatives in South Africa.
