OECD report on SA's economy 2010

Dear SA LED Network Member,

A new report on South Africa’s economy has just been published by the OECD. It points out implications of the recent global economic downturn and its implications for South Africa with its rather small domestic markets not in the position to compensate export losses. Keda is Knysna’s new economic development agency launched this month with support from the IDC. As announced in a news article online, Keda is the first agency in SA focussing on infrastructural development in previously disadvantaged communities. The agency is supposed to facilitate LED and sustainable growth in the underdeveloped communities in greater Knysna. Click here to read the full article.
